how to sell without being salesy
You don't need a massive audience to make sales.
You don't need to constantly pitch your offer, chase people down in the DMs, or convince someone that they need to work with you.
And you definitely don't need to turn your business into one giant commercial.
If you're a spiritual entrepreneur, coach, healer, or creative, there's a good chance you've felt the tension between wanting to sell your work and not wanting to become the kind of person who's constantly pressuring people to buy.
But sales are a relational skill.
The more you learn how to genuinely connect with people, communicate the value of your work, and become confident in your offer, the easier it becomes to sell without forcing it.
In this episode, I'm breaking down why relationships are such a powerful part of the sales process, especially when you're growing a business with a smaller audience.
I'm sharing stories from my own business—including how I went from launching Embodied Leadership Sanctuary three times with crickets to eventually building a six-figure business around one core offer—and what changed when I stopped assuming I needed more people and started getting better at sales.
We'll also talk about the energetic side of selling, how to know when to lean in versus give someone space, why immediately discounting your offer can actually break trust, and what it looks like to help someone make an empowered decision without pressuring them.
What You'll Learn In This Episode:
- Why relationships are the lifeforce of your business, especially when you're selling with a smaller audience
- Why simply listing the features of your offer isn't enough to consistently close sales
- How your confidence in your offer, your pricing, and your ability to deliver can impact your sales
- Why sales are a relational skill that requires practice—not just reading a book or learning a formula
- How I landed high-profile speakers for my first summit despite having fewer than 2,000 Instagram followers
- What changed when I stopped assuming I needed a bigger audience and started focusing on conversion
- Why you don't need to convince someone to buy—and how to recognize when someone is actually ready
- Why immediately lowering your price when someone says they don't have the money can undermine trust
- How somatic sales can help you become more intuitive and attuned during the sales process
